Target size: 50 × 50 mm
Intensity: 1.5 Suns
ND filter for 1 sun operation included
Working distance: 380 mm (with beam turning unit CTBT-3)

The SciSun can be configured to precisely suit user requirements.

The following features can be selected to provide the best SciSun for your application (see brochure for full details):
- Air Mass Filter: AM0 spectral matching is the standard option. Other filtering options are possible; please contact us for more details.
- Lamp: 300 W produces a maximum intensity of 1.5 Suns (AM0 irradiance level).
- Power Supply: The included power supply can be a full-featured, adjustable touchscreen-controlled supply (CE compliant), or a simpler, manually-operated power supply (not CE compliant).
- Beam Turner: A 360-degree adjustable beam turner is included as a standard feature in all models.
- Stand: Three stand options are available as optional accessories: a simple, economical, height-adjustable stand for downward-facing use (in conjunction with a beam turner), a workstation with adjustable sample tray, and a workstation with adjustable sample tray within a dark chamber. If the system is ordered with no stand, it sits on the tabletop and the beam can be rotated to the desired direction using the beam turner.
- Shutter: A manual shutter is an economical option, while a motorized shutter is available as an optional replacement if computer control of the shutter is required. To control the motorized shutter from the power supply, the touchscreen power supply option is required.
- Attenuation: Manual or motorized variable attenuators are available optional accessories. If no variable attenuator is chosen, the SciSun will still come with a removeable neutral density filter to permit 1 sun operation.

This system includes 1 IEC 60320 C13 compatible power cable. Region-specific version must be selected at the time of placing an order (see product 491-9001).

Also included are a xenon arc lamp, filter holder, and testing report.

An AM1.5D filter compatible with Sciencetech solar simulators, including FT-style filter holder. Filter clear aperture is a diameter of 76 mm (3"). Please select the product line the filter is intended to be used with to ensure the proper spectral output.

AM1.5D simulates the terrestrial solar spectrum on the ground when the sun is at a zenith angle of 48.2°. It includes only direct light from the sun, and not the diffuse light that is scattered by the atmosphere. As a result, this filter simulates the direct radiation which reaches the ground.

Please note that for some simulator models the same filter is used to supply an AM1.5G spectral match. Purchasing separate AM1.5G and AM1.5D filters for the same model simulator may not provide a different spectrum.

If the filter is not intended to be used with a Sciencetech solar simulator, the product line "None" may be selected, but the spectral output cannot be guaranteed when paired with a non-Sciencetech source.

AM1.5G simulates the terrestrial solar spectrum on the ground when the sun is at a zenith angle of 48.2°. It includes both direct light from the sun, and the diffuse light that is scattered by the atmosphere. As a result, this filter simulates the total radiation, known as global radiation, which reaches the ground.

Class: AAA (ASTM E927-19, IEC 60904-9)
Target size: 50×50 mm
Intensity: 2 Suns using 300W, 1 Sun using 150W
ND filter for 1 sun operation included with 300W version
Working distance: 380 mm (with beam turning unit CTBT-3)

The SciSun can be configured to precisely suit user requirements.

The following features can be selected to provide the best SciSun for your application (see brochure for full details):
- Air Mass Filter: AM1.5G spectral matching is the standard option. For AM0 matching, please see the AM0 SciSun product. Other filtering options are possible; please contact us for more details.
- Lamp: 300 W produces a maximum intensity of 2 Suns, 150 W produces a maximum intensity of 1 Sun.
If no variable attenuator is chosen, the 300W SciSun will still come with a removeable neutral density filter to permit 1 sun operation.

This system includes 1 IEC 60320 C13 compatible power cable. Region-specific version must be selected at the time of placing an order (see product 491-9001).

Also included are a xenon arc lamp, filter holder, and testing report.

The PSS-series of flash (or pulsed) solar simulators are designed to illuminate large photovoltaic devices up to 2 × 2 m in size with up to 1 sun irradiance, with spectral matching to terrestrial (AM1.5G) or space (AM0) conditions. Spectral match must be selected at the time of order and cannot be changed after production. The system comes with an included device trolley, with a tilted target plane calibrated for the system.

These systems are based on a heavy-duty xenon flash lamp, combined with spectral filtering and a built-in beam conditioning reflector. The standard flash measurement window is 0.2 ms, but an optional pulse current regulator can be selected to allow for a flat, stable pulse within a measurement window of 4.0 ms.

This product includes a flash head, power supply, flash lamp, air mass filter, variable attenuator, temperature sensor, system housing, current-voltage measurement system, computer, and sample trolley.

Please see the table below to select the best IV measurement system for your application.

Specifications:
Spectral Match: up to Class A, see table below
Spatial Non-Uniformity: Class A
Temporal Instability: Class A
Target Size: 0.9 × 0.9 m - 2 × 2 m, see table below
Spectral Range: Depends on AM filter selection
Collimation: Non-collimated

Please note: Mains voltage must be selected at the time of purchase, and cannot be changed after production.

With the Sciencetech Solar LightLine you can direct the Class AAA solar light anywhere you want. Classic designs for solar simulators require you to bring your sample to the solar simulator. Now, you can bring the solar simulator to your sample! This makes the Sciencetech Solar LightLine series of fiberized solar simulators ideal for research that just can't accommodate traditional bulky solar simulators. The solar light can be easily integrated with a glove box without mounting the entire solar simulator in the glove box, saving space and adding flexibility. The standard 4-foot-long fiber makes the simulator ideal for doing spot checks of devices on manufacturing lines or in dedicated setups that can't accommodate a bulky solar simulator.

The Lightline includes space for fitting one internal accessory. Options are a motorized, 6-position filter wheel, with a variety of spectral or neutral density filters that can be supplied. Or a manual or motorized attenuation system that provides continuous control over intensity at the target from 10-100%. Internal accessories must be selected at the time of order and cannot be added at a later time.

Every Lightline includes an internal two-position filter tray that accommodates Sciencetech FT style filters. Model AX-100 and AX-200 come with a removeable FT-style filter that permits one sun operation. One filter location is reserved for the selected air mass filter. Air mass filters must be selected in the order for spectral match classification.

Classification is performed to ASTM E927-19. Classification to IEC 60904-9 and JIS C 08912 standards can be performed on request. Please contact your Sciencetech Technical Representative for details.

- Includes adjustable touchscreen 601-series power supply with current control from 80-100% of max current.
- Includes computer-controlled high intensity shutter.
- Length of light guide: 4 feet (other light guide lengths are possible) Light guides can be fitted with KF flanges for glovebox integration.
- Includes one 300W xenon short arc lamp.

This unit runs on 120/220VAC.
CE compliant.
