Grating for use with 9055, 9057, or 9072 monochromators (including imaging, single, and double monochromator configurations). A grating holder is included with each grating, compatible with the grating mount. Gratings cannot be removed from their holders once installed, but the grating-holder combination can be removed from the grating mount in the monochromator.

Grating size options for the 9055, 9057, and 9072 series are:
30 × 30 mm (9072 only)
50 × 50 mm (9055 and 9057 only)

For single monochromator configurations, please select one grating. Additional gratings can be purchased to cover different wavelengths.
For double monochromator configurations, please select a quantity of two identical gratings. These gratings must be the same for the double monochromator configuration to operate correctly. Additional gratings can be purchased to cover different wavelengths, if purchased in pairs.

Custom gratings can be accommodated. If you intend to use a custom grating or don't see the option you require, please speak with a Sciencetech Technical Representative.

Neutral density wire mesh filter, transmitting a percentage of incident light, mounted in an FT style holder. These filters are robust to high-powered applications (such as solar simulation), do not affect the non-uniformity of the target, and transmission is spectrally flat. Please select the desired transmission percentage for your application.

AM0 simulates the solar spectrum just outside Earth’s atmosphere, where there is very little atmosphere-related absorption of solar radiation. This is generally used for space applications.

AM1.5D simulates the terrestrial solar spectrum on the ground when the sun is at a zenith angle of 48.2°. It includes only direct light from the sun, and not the diffuse light that is scattered by the atmosphere. As a result, this filter simulates the direct radiation which reaches the ground.

Please note that for some simulator models the same filter is used to supply an AM1.5G spectral match. Purchasing separate AM1.5G and AM1.5D filters for the same model simulator may not provide a different spectrum.

This standard IR absorbing water filter is equipped with Fused Quartz windows which transmit UV light. This allows extended UV applications. Horizontal operation only.
Aluminum has superior heat tansfer to Stainless Steel but should not be used in corrosive environments.

Sciencetech cold mirrors reflect visible energy and transmit the infrared (heat energy). The cold mirrors are vacuum deposited and all dielectric.
UV cold mirror is specially designed to reflect more than 95% average of ultra-violet rays from 350-450nm and transmit more than 90% average 550-1200nm at 45 degrees angle of incidence. Custom angles of incidence can be designed to specification.

Sciencetech's Compact 1.75" Optical Liquid Filter is designed to filter wavelengths 1000nm and greater (if distilled water is used). The compact size allows it to be installed in one of Sciencetech's FHV- style filter boxes. The FHV filter box is required to interface this filter with a Sciencetech optical system. This filter requires a cooling water recirculator (sold separately).

The Sciencetech variable focus assembly is coupled to the output port of Model 201-1K arc lamp housing for refocusing its collimated light into a divergent spot. An adjustable lever is used to move the 4 lens assembly along the optical axis. The output beam can be refocused at any f number from infinity (collimated) to f/2. This feature can be used as an intensity controller as the light can be concentrated to any size spot larger or smaller than the 2" diameter of the output port.

To adjust the focus simply use the handles provided to slide the lens tube in or out of the lamp housing. Note that the lens tube has approximately 1” of travel. Stoppers on either end of the lens tube prevent the lens tube from contacting the lamp or from being pulled out of the lamp house.

This assembly uses UV-Fused Silica lenses for optimal UV light transmission.
