    Power supplies provide the power for a light source. Power supplies modify power from the outlet standard to a form more suitable to the demands of a specialty light source. The proper power supply is essential to a light source's proper functioning.

    Sciencetech's 500-1K-QTH is an external 1,000W fixed power supply for QTH lamps. Sciencetech's 1000W QTH power supply produces a highly stabilized 120VDC low noise output and can output upto 10A. The current output to the lamp is not adjustable with this power supply. If you require an adjustable power supply for a Sciencetech Incandescent source see the 612-2K power supply.
    This power supply is designed to work with Sciencetech XLH lamp houses with QTH or other resistive element type lamps having maximum voltage of 120VDC. The power supply will operate resistive element type lamps at their nominal operating voltage and current. This will result in the lamp emitting a spectra at it's nominal colour temperature.

    The 500-1K-QTH unit accepts both 110-120VAC and 220-240VAC inputs.
