Sciencetech Solar Simulators
Sciencetech is proud to offer our newly improved line of Low Cost Solar Simulator Systems, based on small area lenses. Sciencetech offers two lines (SF and SciSun) of solar simulators that produce up to 2 Suns (AM1.5G), depending on the selected model.
These systems are a great choice if low price is a high priority, without having to compromise on important solar simulator specifications.
At the heart of a Sciencetech Solar Simulator, a xenon arc lamp, housing, a special optical assembly, power supply with igniter, filter holder and manual shutter are included. SF solar simulators also include UV fused silica lenses for higher UV emission.
These systems are complete plug-and-play operable and come with easily configurable, touchscreen power supply and control software. Class AAA Solar Simulator spectral matching, spatial non-uniformity, and temporal instability are conformed to ASTM, IEC and JIS standards.
SciSun and SF Measurements
The graphs on the right show the typical output spectra of Sciencetech’s fully reflective solar simulators. These spectral irradiance curves combine the spectral curves of the xenon arc lamp source, air mass filter, and mirrors used inside the solar simulator beam homogenizer. Actual output spectra may vary due to the condition of the lamp and manufacturing tolerances of the air mass filters. In order to simplify visual comparison of the spectral curves of our solar simulators with ASTM E927-19 standard curves, the simulator outputs are normalized to the corresponding standard spectrum.
