Manufacturing Quality Lead

Sciencetech, Inc. has an opening for a Manufacturing Quality Lead.  This is a permanent, full-time position.  We are seeking someone with experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment to join our manufacturing team at our London Ontario plant.  As a low-volume/custom product manufacturer, we offer the successful candidate the opportunity to perform a wide variety of manufacturing tasks on a regular basis, and to have an immediate, visible impact on the success of our operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conducting incoming material quality checks – compare material to drawing/specification.
• Documenting non-conformities at all stages of manufacturing
• Documenting issues with product design and manufacturing process documentation.
• Ensuring the timely completion of corrective and preventive actions for all documented issues.
• Providing feedback to manufacturing and design for process improvement
• Helping to create and maintain manufacturing process documentation

What You Need:

• Engineering technology credentials (diploma or degree) or 2+ years of equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• A working knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS principles
• The ability to read mechanical assembly drawings
• The ability to read electrical assembly drawings
• The ability to use basic hand tools
• The ability to lift objects up to 25kg
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• To be responsible, team-oriented, and process aware
• Detail orientation and strong focus while working
• The ability to use Microsoft application (Word, Excel) software on Windows computers
• Knowledge of Odoo ERP software a bonus
• Quality certifications a bonus
