Sciencetech Attends the Canadian Association of Physicists Congress 2024

Sciencetech attended the Canadian Association of Physicists Congress 2024 which took place at Western University located in London, Ontario, Canada. Amanda Obodovsky, M.Sc. and Ryan Sawyer, Ph.D. attended the conference on behalf of Sciencetech from Tuesday May 28 to Thursday May 30 2024 as exhibitors in the vendor hall. The booth consisted of two standing banners, a working TLS-55-Q250 used for demonstrations, and a SF-300 without the lamp as an example of the small solar simulators we offer.
Brochures and a QR code were available for attendees to learn more about Sciencetech and what we offer. Many congress attendees visited the booth to learn about Sciencetech and there was interest from many researchers, professors, and students. Overall, the exhibitor booth was a success.
On Friday May 31 2024, Amanda Obodovsky, M.Sc. attended the Cosmic+ Career Fair on behalf of Sciencetech. She met with many students and recent graduates in physics related fields of study and generated an interest in working at Sciencetech. There were several students who were interested in the MiTACS program that Sciencetech has partnered with, and many other students who have an interest in starting their career with Sciencetech. Sciencetech’s presence at this career fair was also a success and will hopefully lead to great employees in the future.
The organizers of the CAP congress were impressed with Sciencetech’s professionalism and booth and have invited us to attend the CAP congress next year taking place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
