The IRE-12 a coiled filament operating at approximately 900 degrees Celsius when powered with 10 watts. The radiating element is a coil of resistance wire which has a high emissivity in the Infrared spectral region. The coil is supported by a grooved cylindrical substrate of alumina, resulting in the windings being electrically insulated from each other. This contributes to a more uniform radiating source. The unit does not require operation in a sealed atmosphere. The header is fabricated from cold-rolled steel. The support pins are hermetically sealed in glass.

The Model TEO200 benchtop FTIR spectrometer is a low cost Fourier transform infrared spectrometer that employs a number of unique features to achieve high performance from such a compact size. At just 385x265x160mm , it is one of the most compact FTIR systems on the market today.
The TEO200 is unique in terms of its optical geometry and software/firmware design. The optical geometry is simplified by employing a new and remarkably compact Michelson self compensating optical system that eliminates many of the optical alignment problems found in conventional linear and pendulum type optical interferometers. For example, the TEO200 design avoids the use of conventional corner cube optics and dynamic alignment. In practical terms, the instrument can be used inside a research laboratory, or even as a mobile unit in outside environments. Its software and firmware design is also tightly coordinated which significantly reduces overall data acquisition and computational time.
The sealed, desiccated enclosure of the TEO200 eliminates the need for continuous dry nitrogen purging during operation. Other notable features include an air cooled IR source as oppose to water cooled, and the interferometer mechanical bearing does not require gas supply. There are however, three dry nitrogen gas inlets on the rear of the spectrometer for the purging of the detector compartment, sample compartment, and interferometer compartment from moisture, carbon dioxide and other gases.

Please note that there are a variety of spectral ranges available, depending on the detector-beam splitter choices for the system. The price of the system includes this beam splitter, but it must be specified.
KBr 7,000 to 400 cm-1
ZnSe 5,000 to 500 cm-1
CaF2 10,000 to 1,000 cm-1
Quartz 15,000 to 3,000 cm-1

This is an external transmission and reflectance sample chamber that can be mated to an output port of the SPS-series FTIRs. This sample chamber allows small samples (such as cuvettes or thin films) to be studied in both reflection and transmission. The sample chamber shares the vacuum environment with the FTIR, but an optional window or vacuum gate (sold separately) allows the chamber to be isolated from the FTIR. The sample chamber utilizes reflective aspheric optics with gold coating for excellent far infrared and terahertz operation.

This is an SMA fiber coupler (FC style also available) with an interface flange mount to the input port of a Sciencetech monochromator or spectrograph (fiber not included). Please note two versions are available. One version is for the Sciencetech 9030 monochromator which utilizes its own slit interface flange design. The other version is for all other Sciencetech Series 9000 and 8000 monochromators and spectrographs which use a common slit interface flange design. With an FIB1 at the input port, a slit (fixed or adjustable) is not necessary as the width of the input fiber typically defines the input slit width. Please note that this fiber connection does not address the f number matching issue between the fiber and the monochromator or spectrograph. Hence if it is used at the input port of the monochromator or spectrograph, significant light loss can be expected with the fiber having an f number closer to 1. If this is an issue, please speak to a Sciencetech Applications Specialist about using a condensing lens assembly with the FIB4 or FIB5 instead

The 9490 monochromator is Sciencetech's second highest resolution monochromator, with 1m focal length. With a 2400 l/mm grating it can achieve resolutions better than 0.01 nm in the standard single pass configuration. This version uses 84 x 84 mm gratings for an aperture of f/9.7.By default the monochromator comes with a single grating kinematic mount. Users can manually swap one grating for another without losing alignment. An optional motorized 3-grating turret is available for automatic grating selection without opening the housing. The 9490 has a flat field output allowing it to operate as a spectrograph using a linear array, multi-channel detector to capture the entire output spectrum continuously. Sciencetech provides a selection of 1" wide CCDs and photo-diode linear array detectors mounted on a multi-axis adjustable focusing platform for use with the 9490.
Some models of the 9490 can be updgraded to dual pass operation (-DP). With the -DP dual pass upgrade option even higher resolution is available by switching to a "double pass" configuration that effectively doubles the focal length to 2m.

Please see the technical datasheet for further information.

This option allows the SPS-300 to use both output ports simultaneously. The internal mirror that directs the parallel beam to the converging output is replaced by a large beam splitter which sends half the radiation to the converging output, and the other half to the parallel output.

Please discuss any questions you have regarding the beam splitter, or operating two detectors simultaneously, with your authorized Sciencetech technical sales staff.

The optional external light source port upgrade provides both a motorized turning mirror and the flange for the input port so that users can couple external light sources (e.g. glowbar, Gunn diode, synchrotron) into the SPS-300. The motorized mirror switches inputs between the SPS-300 internal mercury lamp and external light source. Additional optics and chambers may be required to focus the external light source into the SPS-300.

A system of 48 LASI units. Each LASI unit illuminates up to 0.5x0.5m with a filtered xenon short arc lamp producing 6,000K illumination.

Non-uniformity is not tested, and typical values are quoted.
LASI units are tested for spectral match compliance to ASTM E927-19 AM1.5G class C and temporal instability compliance to ASTM E927-19 class A.
LASI units include one high-quality 1.6kW xenon short arc lamp per unit purchased.

Each unit includes an integrated single-phase power supply with a touch screen interface that requires 220VAC. Systems can be operated remotely through Sciencetech PowerControl software. C++/ Python control is possible with an additional SciencetechCOM module. Labview control is possible with additional SciAX module.

In certain applications a single LASI may be used on its own. However, LASIs are best used in arrays of multiple units, as the optical performance improves when the light from multiple units overlaps.

LASI units have a mounting flange but do not include a stand to hold the LASI unit. LASI units are intended to operate vertically facing downwards. See the brochure for additional product information and available accessories.

Power requirements: 200-240 VAC, 12.1 to 9.0 A per unit.
