The most powerful TeraHertz FTIR available in the mid and far IR Range, the SPS-300 is our second generation Martin-Puplett/Michelson Interferometer designed and built at Sciencetech's own facilities in London, Canada. Under optimum conditions with a 2400 l/mm grating it can achieve a resolution of 0.004 nm in single pass mode. 9150SD includes an optical module that allows the unit to be configured in a double pass mode as well, effectively doubling the focal length to 3m and achievable resolution to 0.002 nm. It utilizes large 102 x 102 mm gratings for high light throughput (f/12 aperture). The SciVidi spectroradiometer is an integrated spectrordadiometer system designed to measure both AC and continuous wave light sources such as solar simulators over a wide spectral range.
The standard SciVidi system includes two spectral dispersion systems with integrated diode array detectors for measuring spectral irradiance from 300-1050nm. The SciVidi is calibrated for spectral irradiance with a Deuterium and calibrated quartz tungsten halogen lamp. The spectroradiometer can measure spectral irradiance in time intervals as short as 100 us and can be synchronized with a TTL pulse. A cosine corrected optical head is connected to the spectroradiometer by a 2m fiber optic.

The standard SPS-300 has a 50mm translating stage, wich can provide resolution up to 0.12 wavenumbers. The high resolution upgrade option extends the translating stage to 300mm, allowing the SPS-300 to achieve a resolution of 0.020 wavenumbers. Due to the increased stage length, an extension to the vacuum-sealed body is needed to accommodate the extra distance.

The optional external light source port upgrade provides both a motorized turning mirror and the flange for the input port so that users can couple external light sources (e.g. glowbar, Gunn diode, synchrotron) into the SPS-300. The motorized mirror switches inputs between the SPS-300 internal mercury lamp and external light source. Additional optics and chambers may be required to focus the external light source into the SPS-300.

In the 9072DS, the grating in the second monochromator is arranged such that it reverses the spectral dispersion of the first monochromator. This leads to a spectrally homogenized beam at the output port of the second monochromator and greatly reduced stray light, ideal for spectroradiometry, Raman or UV measurements of solar radiation.
The arrangement of the 9072DS allows it to act either as a tunable bandpass filter or a tunable notch filter. Arranged as a tunable bandpass filter the bandpass of the device is determined by the width of an intermediate slit. When arranged as a tunable notch filter the width of the notch is determined by the physical width of an opaque notch placed at the intermediate slit position.
The 9072DS can also be used to pass or filter out several selected wavelengths by using a custom intermediate multi-slit mask instead of a single width intermediate slit.

One SS-80 slit is included, which can be attached to either the input or output port. A second slit can be added to the order if desired.

The TEO-200-X series of FTIR spectrometers represent a low cost Fourier transform infrared spectrometers and employ a number of unique features that ensure high performance from a compact instrument. The 200-X measures just 59 X 39 X 19 cm and is regarded as one of the most compact and versatile infrared FTIR spectrophotometers. The design of the 200-X is unique both in terms of optical design and the software and firmware designed specifically to significantly reduce overall analytical times. The interferometer geometry employs a new compact Michelson self compensating optical system that eliminates many of the optical alignment problems found in conventional type optical interferometers. The 200-X design avoids the use of conventional corner cube optics and dynamic alignment. In practice this means that the instrument can be used in the research laboratory, in any university or college environment and if required, can also be used outside laboratory or in remote locations.
The sample compartment is large and can accommodate all of the normal sample handling requirements relating to FTIR spectroscopy.
