Sciencetech's FB1T filter box holds one filter per filter box and can accommodate up to 3" x 3" filters. The FB1T filter box is used to stop back reflections from travelling along the path of the incident light. The FB1T filter boxes are stackable, so multiple FB1T filter boxes can be attached if using more than one filter at once is required.
The FB1T has standard mounting for slip rings that are compatible with 2" diameter lens tubes.

Compatible Focused Beam Output Optics: Combined COL-series and IO-series

All Sciencetech LH lamp housings feature a configurable and upgradeable housing capable of being operated in the vertical or horizontal position. Each housing comes with adjustable base plates for both configurations, allowing easy alignment of the lamp to the rest of the optical system.

Power and communication are supplied to the housing via a single cable connected to the touchscreen power supply, allowing users to easily and neatly set up the system. A safety interlock prevents power being supplied to the housing while the cover is open, protecting users from electric shock or unwanted light exposure.

A wide variety of collimated or focused output optics is available for use with the LH-series, allowing a full range of sizes, materials, and coatings for optics to best suit the requirement. A wide variety of accessories is also available, including downward-facing stands, optical intensity feedback, and more.

Sciencetech’s high powered fully reflective solar simulators can be used for UV applications by replacing the solar filters with UV filters. Sciencetech's proprietary Fully Reflective design allows the system to get far more UV power on target than our competitor's systems of equal size.

Please note that the wavelength definition of UVA and UVB in the COLIPA sun screen testing community is slightly different from the general scientific community.
This solar simulator includes testing and filters to verify the system meets COLIPA and USFDA spectral requirements.
