The SS-84-M is a High Resolution motorized adjustable slit for the input or output port of a Sciencetech monochromator. The slit width can be adjusted between 0-6 mm using the computer controlled actuator. The height of the SS-84 slit can also be adjusted between 0-10 mm, 10-20 mm and 20-30 mm through built-in manual curtain sliders.

The SS-80-M is a motorized adjustable slit for the input or output port of a Sciencetech monochromator. The slit width can be adjusted between 0-6 mm using the computer controlled actuator. The height of the SS80 slit can also be adjusted between 0-10 mm, 10-20 mm and 20-30 mm through built-in manual curtain sliders. Please note that these slits are not designed to maximize throughput for extremely high resolution monochromators, due to the straight orientation of the slits. For maximum resolution, the slits need to be designed on a curve that corresponds to the curvature of the point of least confusion. However, this is only a significant factor for systems with optical pathlengths of 1m and greater. Please speak with your authorized Sciencetech technical sales staff member if you need maximum resolution for a long pathlength system.

This holder is economical choice for slits for Sciencetech monochromators such as the 9055.
This slit holder is required when using the fixed slits designed for the 9030 (Product Numbers 120-9010, 120-9011, 120-9012, 120-9013, 120-9033, and 120-9034).

Only one slit holder is required per input/output; different slits can be exchanged using the same slit holder. Please add the size of slit you would like to the order. Sizes are available from 0.05 mm (50 um) up to 3 mm. Slits are 8 mm tall.

This upgrade allows a manual 9030 to be operated by computer control. SciMono is included. Only a single motorized upgrade is required for 9030DS, 9030DA, or a single 9030.

This system includes 1 IEC 60320 C13 compatible power cables. Region-specific version must be selected at the time of placing an order (see product 491-9001).

The SS-80 is a manually controlled, bilaterally adjustable slit for the input or output port. Most Sciencetech monochromators/spectrograph models already include one SS-80 slit at the input port but an additional one at the output port is usually required if the monochromator is mated to a single channel detector, PMT detector, or used as a tunable wavelength light source. If the dual port option is selected for a Sciencetech monochromator, an additional SS-80 slit for the second port may also be required. The slit width can be adjusted between 0-6 mm, in 10 µm spacing using a micrometer thumbwheel. The height of the SS-80 slit can also be adjusted between 0-10 mm, 10-20 mm and 20-30 mm through built-in manual curtain sliders.
